Remember when the trailer for Modern Warfare 2 was released during GDC? Do you remember how there seemed to be an uprising concerning the title of the game?
Well, that conflict still seems to be rearing its head because Activision Blizzard's Q1 earnings call has titled the game "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2", according to VG247. It's been over a month since the first questions about the title's name were asked, and I was hoping that by now an official statement would have been given to end the debate once and for all. I suppose this new development will spark that statement, and that we'll have to wait for it to show up.
In addition to the name given to the title, the report also stated that 13 million copies of the first game have been shipped, and that the trailer for "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" was viewed over 1.3 million times in the first 24 hours it was available.
