As Many As Eight Guitar Hero Games Might Hit in 2009

According to Eurogamer , "a source close to publisher" Activision may release as many as eight Guitar Hero themed games in 2009. Here's the list: Guitar Hero: Metallica (confirmed for March 29, 2009 on the PS3, 360 and PC) Guitar Hero: Greatest Hits (confirmed for June on the PS3, 360 and PC) Guitar Hero: Modern Hits (confirmed on the DS) Hard Rock Van Halen (rumored to be coming in August) Guitar Hero 5 (not the final title, we imagine--September release rumored.) DJ Hero (rumored October release) Band Hero (rumored November release) Another as-yet-untitled DS music game Uh, Activision, we all love Guitar Hero, but have you heard of overkill?
