Battlefield Heroes , the free-to-play spin-off of DICE's online multiplayer shooter series, should be officially released and opened to all before April, according to Electronic Arts' financial documents.
Shacknews picked up on this tidbit, as they noticed the documents show the game is scheduled to launch in this current fiscal quarter, which spans January to March 31. So, assuming the game doesn't see another delay , we should all be able to hop in delightfully cartoony tanks and bombers and blow each other to hell by April.
A good bet would probably put the game's launch toward the end of the quarter, considering the beta only just re-opened at the end of January, but who knows -- with any luck EA will ramp up accessibility to the game sooner rather than later.
