Remember Beyond Good & Evil? Criminally underrated by the general public but a fantastic game. Well, there have been various rumblings of a sequel for the next-gen, but it looks as though the ball is finally rolling. Original creator Michel Ancel recently did an interview with All-Gamers where he drops some long awaited details on the new game. Unfortunately for those of you that were hoping for more of the unique game that was the first installment, according to Ancel and Ubisoft, the original was not what they had envisioned. The limitations of the PS2 at the time didn't allow them to do what they wanted, and apparently had to settle for less.
Beyond Good & Evil 2 is still in pre-production, and Ubisoft was not ready to announce what consoles the game will appear on, though Ancel pointed out that a Wii edition was unlikely at first, but perhaps a port would be possible at some point down the road.
