Capcom has already announced downloadable content for Resident Evil 5 . The publisher will soon be releasing a downloadable multiplayer update for $4.99, a move Capcom defended to Computer & Video Games .
The upcoming update adds two "Versus" modes to Resident Evil 5: "Slayer" and "Survivor." No release date has been attached to the update yet.
