Capcom Ships 2 Million Street Fighter 4 Units Worldwide

Among the other news that has everyone talking today, Capcom sent word that Street Fighter 4 has shipped an impressive 2 million units worldwide. Keep in mind, the game has only been available at retail for just under a week. While it's important to remember that these are units shipped , not sold, that does mean that the retailers ordering from Capcom have faith that the game will sell through on the stock they're purchasing. And seeing as it's one of the biggest franchises around getting a long-awaited current-generation upgrade, it's probably safe to say that a healthy number has already been purchased. Even with only a week left in February, we'll probably see the game make a dent in the NPD sales numbers.
