Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop Review

Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop should probably not even exist on Wii. The original , which ran on a heavily modified Onimusha graphics engine on Xbox 360, featured high-res graphics, large environments, and an unruly amount of zombie fodder. It's something of a technological accomplishment that Capcom was able to squish a semblance of that experience onto Wii, but I'm not convinced that they should have without making larger changes to the rest of the game. Chop Till You Drop is an interesting entity. Those who wanted to play Dead Rising have likely already done so in superior form, on Xbox 360, if they own that system. If Capcom was hoping to appeal to the Wii's huge casual installed base, they might have created an altogether different sort of game, rather than attempt a straight port of what is a very hardcore game.
