Death Tank Rolls onto Xbox Live Arcade This Week

This week's Xbox Live Arcade release will be Snowblind Studios' Death Tank , Microsoft revealed this morning. An updated, fast-paced take on classic artillery games like Tank Wars and Worms , Death Tank will be available on the Xbox Live Marketplace this Wednesday, February 18 for 1200 Microsoft points (approximately $15). Much like Geometry Wars grew from a hidden minigame within Project Gotham Racing , the original Death Tank games were featured in the Sega Saturn versions of Duke Nukem 3D and PowerSlave . With any luck -- and a little help from the folks that brought us Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance -- Death Tank has the potential to become just as addictive and successful as Bizarre Creations' definitive twin-stick shooter.
