Koller says the PSP has broader appeal Speaking online following the release of Nintendo's new DSi handheld, Sony marketing boss John Koller has hinted that the system is mainly for "kids".
Talking to Engadget , Koller says that the PSP's demographic is far wider than Nintendo's, and that the new DSi won't appeal much beyond the 'kids', still.
"Significant gamer demographic groups are being ignored, and there continues to be limited opportunities for games from external publishers to do well on the DSi," Koller rails.
"Compare that with the PSP platform, where we have many blockbuster franchises from our publishing partners launching this year, representing a wide variety of genres and targeting diverse demographics."
More on the DSi very soon.
