Speaking to Bloomberg, Nintendo Co. Ltd. President Satoru Iwata once again reconfirmed that Nintendo is already at work on its next console. However, he says that the company will not be ready to introduce it to the public until such a time comes that developers say they can no longer improve games for the Wii.
"None of our developers is making that kind of complaint," Iwata says, which will no doubt come as a small surprise to those who feel that few third parties are putting any real effort into their Wii games.
The idea of console life cycles and Iwata's thoughts on them are given a more in-depth look at VentureBeat, where it is observed that after this E3, it seems the graphics arms race is now being put aside in favor of building the best motion control system.
