E3 2009: Nintendo Already Working on Next Console, May Not Arrive for 3-8 Years, Adds HD?

Speaking to Bloomberg, Nintendo Co. Ltd. President Satoru Iwata once again reconfirmed that Nintendo is already at work on its next console. However, he says that the company will not be ready to introduce it to the public until such a time comes that developers say they can no longer improve games for the Wii. "None of our developers is making that kind of complaint," Iwata says, which will no doubt come as a small surprise to those who feel that few third parties are putting any real effort into their Wii games.
