Like pretty much everyone else, Electronic Arts is in full cost-cutting mode. And now it's starting to look like nothing is safe.
Gamasutra is reporting that EA Tiburon, which is responsible for the Madden franchise among other EA Sports titles, is the latest studio to be receiving cuts. These come along with the reported cuts to Blackbox and Mythic, as well as reportedly cutting ties with Pandemic Brisbane .
EA has already announced a 'global reduction' that will see 10 percent of its workforce laid off, but the publisher won't comment on plans for specific facilities and stuff until its earnings call in early February. Until then, we'll keep you up to date on additional information as we learn it.
