Epic Says Gears Of War Has Ten-Year Plan

The PlayStation 3 isn't the only brand sporting a ten-year plan. Epic's got one too, this one for Gears of War . And they're not skimping on the rhetoric either. At a New York Comic panel devoted to Gears of War (as reported on by IGN ), Gears 2 writer Joshua Ortega promised that fans would "not disappointed in the next ten years." And when asked about a potential Gears prequel detailing the events of Emergence Day, Ortega had this to say. "It's a ten-year plan. Gears is long-term. The Lancer is the new lightsaber." (link)
