The Icelandic economy isn't doing so great, but it seems like EVE Online is still doing just fine for itself. They even kicked off the new year by setting a new record for concurrent users.
Massively is reporting that EVE Online set a new milestone of 45,186 concurrent users, an impressive accomplishment for any game not named World of WarCraft , let alone a five-year old massively multiplayer game.
Over at CCP , they're breaking out the champagne. So we'll offer them our own cyber-toast, and wish them the best of luck in the new year.
