As was revealed at Nintendo president Satoru Iwata's GDC keynote this morning, a whole slew of classic arcade games are now available for download on the Wii's Virtual Console. Included in today's releases are Mappy , Star Force , and The Tower of Druaga for 500 Wii Points each, as well as Gaplus -- Namco's 1984 follow-up to Galaga -- for 600 Wii Points.
Mappy probably wouldn't have been our first choice for a Virtual Console arcade revival, but at least it's a start. Which vintage arcade games would you suggest for rerelease on Wii?
