It's things like this that draw ridicule for gamers who opt to play games on PC. Following Grand Theft Auto 4 's much anticipated release on PC earlier this week, reports are springing up all across the internet regarding significant issues being encountered in the game. From being unable to start the game to missing textures to seemingly arbitrary limits on graphic settings, the situation appears to be nothing short of a disaster. A quick gander at the official Steam forums shows that more than a few gamers are running into problems -- even to the point where Steam is offering refunds on a case-by-case basis, according to Voodoo Extreme . Rockstar has released a list of error codes (grab it here ) in order to help identify the cause of certain errors.
