Harry Potter Rumored to Undergo the Lego Treatment

 
With Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Batman under their belt, could Harry Potter be the next franchise to be Lego-ized by developer Traveller's Tales? If what CVG says is true, J.K. Rowling's billion-dollar empire of witchcraft and wizardry is indeed next in line. Considering the developer's success in transforming some of the most memorable -- not to mention financially successful -- franchises of all time into Lego form, we feel there's a lot of weight to this rumor, especially since the next film in the series, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince , finally releases next summer. In comparison, both Lego Indiana Jones and Lego Batman were released within months of films based on their properties. Traveller's Tales was also recently purchased by Warner Bros., the studio behind the Harry Potter film adaptations. The only question we have is whether or not a potential Lego Harry Potter game would cover the complete seven-book saga or just a handful of adventures starring the boy ... (link)
