Whoa, wait, what? This is the strangest news you'll hear all day, but bear with me. Paul McCartney's recent ex-wife, Heather Mills, was reportedly approached by Capcom to be involved in the marketing campaign for Bionic Commando . Why would Capcom be interested in the ex-wife of a Beatle? Mills lost a significant portion of her left leg in a 1993 accident. She's an amputee.
There are competing sources on what happened behind the scenes, however. British tabloid The Sun reports Miller demanded too much money and a prominent role in the game itself. According to The Sun, Capcom refused and walked away. Miller, however, has disputed these claims through her Twitter account.
"Got offered to promote an amputee bionic computer game, from a wealthy computer games company I said if you donate a large sum to charity," she wrote earlier today.
