Left 4 Dead Expansion Confirmed for PC and 360

You knew it was coming but Valve finally made it official today -- last year's reenactment of the zombie apocalypse is getting new content this spring. Left 4 Dead 's upcoming DLC will include "a new multiplayer game mode entitled Survival, plus two complete campaigns for Versus Mode." In addition, PC users are getting a little something extra with the update -- the ability to craft custom campaigns via the Source Software Devlopment Kit. It's free of charge to the mouse and keyboard crowd, and the user-created levels will be distributed through L4D's matchmaking system. If you haven't gotten around to picking up the game yet, a Critic's Choice Edition will also hit stores around the same time with all the upgraded, meatier content included.
