Poll finds Nintendo veteran is top dog Develop magazine has conducted a poll of video game creators, attempting to find out who their development 'hero' is, Zelda and Mario mastermind Shigeru Miyamoto emerging as the developers' favourite. A whopping 3,000 game makers were on the original list, with 9,000 developers participating in the survey. Miyamoto nabbed the top spot from John Carmack, Will Wright and Sid Meier, while PaRappa mastermind Masaya Matsuura also made the top ten, ahead of tenth placed newcomer Jonathan Blow (Braid).
