Netflix has been giving clues that it may be looking into streaming support for all three consoles, but the latest one churning the rumor mill is an actual job listing straight from the company. Netflix is looking for an "Engineering Leader-Gaming Platforms," with the stated department as "Partner Product Development." The description mentions "prototyping, testing and building the Netflix experience for gaming consoles." It also refers to a "small technology team to rapidly prototype and iterate on a variety of platforms."
Clearly the company is looking for someone familiar with the current-gen crop of consoles, asking for "years of experience" developing games, and the ability to overcome "technical hurdles" associated with the platforms. Finally, in the bullet points, it requests "experience at a successful company in the console gaming space."
