New RTS Coming Exclusively To PlayStation 3

Meet the newest attempt to make a definitive console-based real-time strategy game. This one coming exclusively to the PlayStation 3 in 2009. Eurogamer is reporting that Seed Studio is developing Under Siege , which will have a "special emphasis" on user-generated content while also being tailored to console gameplay and control. No word on gameplay, but early screenshots from the official website suggest that it will be taking place an era better known for swords than tanks. If nothing else, the persistence in trying to create a great RTS for consoles is admirable. We'll see how this one shakes out. (link)
