Europhoria engine-powered Indy is just a memory now. In its place is Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings for the Wii, PlayStation 2, Nintendo DS and the PlayStation Portable. And now the first gameplay details are beginning to emerge.
Eurogamer is reporting that Staff of Kings will be set in 1939, and will feature locations ranging from Chinatown to San Francisco to Panama. Indy is seeking, you guessed it, a powerful relic called the Staff of Kings. Sorry for the spoilers.
Also as expected, a flick of the Wiimote will govern Indy's whip, with what seems to be motion-based quicktime events deciding whether he will be able to get out of danger. Naturally, the PS2, DS and PSP versions will be adding their own spins to the controls.
