Digging around demo suggests as much. With the PC pre-order demo of Left 4 Dead 2 now available in addition to the Xbox 360 one, eager beavers on the Steam forums have pulled it apart and apparently unearthed the prospect of Avatar rewards in the full game. According to poster Fade Guy, one of the text files lists various garments and accessories (frying pan, garden gnome, L4D2 shirt, Bull Shifters shirt, Depeche Mode shirt, etc.) in sections commented "Avatar Awards", with each unlock seemingly paired with an Achievement-style requirement (beat all the campaigns, rescue Gnome Chompski, and so on). Valve hasn't said anything to confirm all this, but we wouldn't put it past them, the wily old scamps.
