Figures for US and Europe rather high too. Nintendo has published a chart showing that one in five Japanese citizens own a DS. As reported by Kotaku, 26.1 million handhelds have been shifted in the country - which has a population of 127 million people. A whopping 29.3 million DS units have been sold in North America, while the figure for Europe is 33.1 million. That's an awful lot of gold coins. > >
