Nintendo Addresses Rumors of Wii MotionPlus Delay

There have already been rumors swirling about just when exactly Nintendo plans to release Wii MotionPlus, the add-on that would give Wii remotes more accurate motion controls. Now IGN's latest Wii podcast added more intrigue to this growing mystery, as Matt Casamassina stated he's "heard Nintendo was internally struggling with Wii MotionPlus, trying to figure out a few hiccups," and may have to "delay it past June" as a result. But speaking to CVG, Nintendo denies any such claims of delays... and they're using some tricky language to do so. "No date was ever announced for MotionPlus -- so technically it can't be delayed," said a Nintendo representative. It's a coy technicality Nintendo is using, but strangely, they're also technically wrong .
