Nintendo Brings Wii Music to Classrooms
Wii Music is barely managing to crack into the NPDs , but the musical jukebox is finding another success story in classrooms. Nintendo has entered a partnership with MENC: The National Association for Musical Education to help teachers in 51 cities across America incorporate Wii Music into their lessons. This will help kids learn the basics of music like rhythm, tempo, and song structure. Nintendo is also partnering with the Blue Bear School of Music in San Fransisco and the Opus 118 Harlem School of Music in New York, focusing on technology and introducing children to music at an early age.
"Wii Music has brought a renewed excitement to music class for students, myself and even some of the classroom teachers," said Helen Krofchick in a press release.
