Nintendo Financials Reveal Several Release Dates

After digging through recent financial reports from Nintendo, Shacknews managed to uncover some of the company's release plans for the coming year. As you'd probably expect this early into 2009, most of the titles listed still only have vague launch windows attached to them. A select handful of games, however, actually received specific, down-to-the-day release dates. Pokemon Platinum , for instance, is expected to arrive in the U.S. on March 22, while the Wii rereleases of Pikmin and Mario Power Tennis should turn up sometime that month as well. The report also lists plenty of games for the first half of 2009, including Punch Out!! , Wii Sports Resort , Rhythm Heaven , and the somewhat frivolous-sounding Personal Trainer: Walking . Less specific than that are listings for Sin and Punishment 2 and Mario & Luigi 3 , which are simply scheduled for an eventual 2009 release. Wii sequels to Endless Ocean  ... (link)
