There's been some confusion recently over when the Wii MotionPlus would be released, but a tiny blurb in a Nintendo Power article seems to have narrowed it down quite a bit. A preview for Electronic Arts' upcoming Grand Slam Tennis states the add-on is "due out prior to Grand Slam's release," which is set for June 18 ( via GoNintendo).
What's curious about this, though, is that recent comments out of EA seemed to suggest they had no idea when the MotionPlus would be released. David Tinson, director of public relations for EA Sports, told MTV Multiplayer that "[Grand Slam Tennis and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 ] will ship with the functionality, regardless of when [Wii MotionPlus] comes to market," meaning EA was ready for the possibility that the game could be released before the MotionPlus hits retail.
Confusion over the release of the MotionPlus was spurred by what seems to be a delay for Wii Sports Resort . ...
