Online Gaming In China Continues To Grow

They really love their online gaming over in East Asia, and China is no exception. And with their economy continuing to grow, so is their online games industry, with revenues of $1.86 billion expected for 2008. Gamasutra is reporting that a new report from the business news organization Interfax China shows online game operators raked in revenues totaling $1.5 billion in 2007. By 2010, sales could go as high as $2.67 billion. And while games like World of WarCraft are extremely popular, Interfax China says online and casual games are also growing in popularity.
