Poll May Reveal Future PSP Plans

 
PSP Fanboy reports that a Sony consumer survey may hint at future plans for the PlayStation Portable. While most of the poll responses are fairly standard, asking if people want better battery life or faster load times, a few stand out. Questions involving a touch screen, GPS navigation, a music download service, and Internet access from anywhere hint at Sony having its eye on competing with the burgeoning iPhone success. Other questions, asking about interest in Friends lists, Home and chat functions, and Trophy support, all imply that they may be seeking to further link the PlayStation 3 and its little portable sibling. Many of the specs would involve new hardware, and while Sony has recently denied rumors of a PSP2 , there's no reason these couldn't be coming with the next upgraded models.
