Prototype scheduled for release

Summer blockbuster planned by Activision Activision have finally put us out of our misery, confirming when superhero action game Prototype is set for release. Apparently, Radical's opus will be released on June 5th in Europe, and on June 9th in North America. In the UK, the game has had an 18 certification slapped on it, while in America it will be rated 'M' for Mature. The game is out on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. The title promises to put players in charge of a shape-shifting human weapon, Alex Mercer, a "genetically mutated man without memory, armed with amazing shape-shifting abilities." Alex wants to learn where he came from, and so begins an adventure across New York city. We'll bring you more on this as we get it. (link)
