A good shmup is always welcome as a downloadable title, and Microsoft is cheerfully obliging. R-Type Dimensions will be arriving on Xbox Live Arcade on February 4.
For 1200 Microsoft Points ($15), players will be able to play R-Type or R-Type 2 with original or enchanced graphics. New features include cooperative player via Xbox Live, and the ability to give yourself infinite lives and plug through the game at your own pace.
Pretty expensive, but it looks to give a reasonable amount of content for your gaming dollar. Will you be checking it out?
