The Resident Evil 5 demo is now available on the PlayStation 3 . And if the Xbox 360 numbers are anything to go by, it'll be popular. Very popular.
From Microsoft's Gamerscore blog comes news that more than 1.3 million Xbox Live users downloaded the demo in the first three days. Now after a week, that number has reached 1.8 million. Microsoft also quoted a 53 percent download rate for Japanese Xbox Live Gold members since the demo's release there in December.
Not too bad, even for a highly anticipated game like Resident Evil 5. We'll see how it does when those kinds of numbers start to translate to money come March 13.
