Just as we predicted back in October, Rock Band is about to get a healthy dose of country music DLC. The Going Country five-pack will be available for download starting Tuesday, December 16 on Xbox Live, and Thursday, December 18 on the PlayStation Store. Individual tracks will run the standard $1.99 (160 Microsoft points), while the bundle will go for the discounted bulk price of $8.49 (680 Microsoft points). Included in the five-pack are the following songs:
"Mud on the Tires" by Brad Paisley
"Hillbilly Deluxe" by Brooks & Dunn
"Free & Easy (Down the Road I Go)" by Dierks Bentley
"Sin Wagon" by Dixie Chicks
"Gunpowder & Lead" by Miranda Lambert
Assuming you're not immediately turned off by the country western genre -- or an overabundance of ampersands, for that matter -- then it should be a solid week for Rock Band DLC fanatics. If you'd sooner listen to two chalkboards getting it on than a song by the Dixie ...
