Rumor: Call of Duty 7 On the Way

Is Call of Duty 7, or whatever they wind up calling it, already underway? Undoubtedly, but CVG reports of a source of unofficial confirmation that Treyarch is already at work. "According to a Treyarch designer's online CV, Call Of Duty 7 is already being worked on. Ta-da!" they say. They add that "The profile is that of a Senior Animator at Treyarch, which reveals (even though it probably shouldn't): 'I am currently on my second title as a senior animator in the games industry with Activision / Treyarch on Call Of Duty 7.'" And it seems they were right, and it probably shouldn't have revealed that; a visit to the profile saw no mention of a Call of Duty of any kind. There's a saying on the internet, "pics or it didn't happen," but in CVG's case, I'm inclined to believe them; it is Activision (and Call of Duty, for that matter), after all. (link)
