Rumor: Modern Warfare 2 Wii-bound?

While it's not uncommon for Call of Duty games to see release on Nintendo's Wii platform, Modern Warfare was a bit of an odd exception, leaving something of a hole between Call of Duty 3 and World at War. And it appeared that Modern Warfare 2 would continue that trend, announced only for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. However, Amazon.co.uk seems show otherwise, listing a version of the title for the Wii hardware as well. Of course, this may simply be an error on the UK branch of Amazon's part, as they are the only one which seems to show the title, in addition to the fact that they still show the "Call of Duty" name attached, which the sequel has dropped. On the other hand, Activision often tends to release its games on as many platforms as it can, so ultimately, we'll just have to wait and see where this goes. Perhaps E3 will hold an answer. (link)
