The PlayStation 3 Slim rumors just won't die, huh? This time around we are getting reports that two Taiwanese manufacturing firms have received contracts to start working on the not-yet-confirmed console. The units are supposedly being shipped by the end of July.
These rumors don't sound too far fetched. The two firms, Foxconn and Pegatron, manufactured the original PS3. The timing also seems appropriate. Sony has received continuous pressure to drop the price of the PS3. This could be their answer to that pressure.
