When Nintendo rolled out the Wii before the masses, SEGA was one of the first third-parties to hop on board, and have proven themselves one of the platform's strongest supporters ever since. And now that Microsoft and Sony are aiming to get into that same type of space with Project Natal and [Insert Codename Here], they feel that the company is in the right position for a real "land grab" ahead of their rivals.
SEGA's Managing Director of European development, Gary Dunn, shared his view during an interview with gamesindustry.biz, in which he states: "Being the largest third-party publisher on Wii we obviously have good gestural experience so for us I can see an opportunity to get a land grab on some of our competitors by taking our head start in gestural gaming and evolving it."
