Guitar Hero: Smash Hits will be hitting all consoles this June in North America and the game will have a host of new features, but may feel very familiar to long time fans of the series.
The new features will include a Battle of the Bands feature, which will let two four-player bands duke it out online. The Music Studio will let you create your own music and share it online with others through GHTunes.
Along with these new features, you will be able to play through 8 new venues and play previous Guitar Hero songs with a full band. Players can vote for which set list will be revealed next by going to the Guitar Hero website. The list is updated each week with new tracks that will be included on the game.
Even though the game will have significant new features, the game is definitely aimed at recent fans of the Guitar Hero series. For newcomers to the Guitar Hero games this is a great deal, but for those longtime fans of the series purchasing the game may be bittersweet. Either way, we will see ...
