Silent Hill for Wii coming from Climax?

Two new games rumoured UK blog VG247 are this morning reporting that UK developer Climax are planning to create a remake of Silent Hill for the Wii and PSP. Series owners Konami aren't commenting on this tittle-tattle, but Climax have previously mooted a secret horror project, while long-term publisher Codemasters have denied all knowledge of a new game. The first Silent Hill title hit the PlayStation back in 1999, and this rumour suggests that a remake might make use of the Wii's unique controls, although we've little detail on the proposed handheld version. Beyond this recreation, Climax are also said to be working on an Xbox 360 and PS3 title for Konami, but this will be an original game, we hear. (link)
