The Beatles: Rock Band Dated for September

Rock Band developer Harmonix announced this morning that their Fab Four-focused rhythm game will be making its worldwide retail debut on September 9, 2009. The Beatles: Rock Band is scheduled to appear on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii as standalone software for $59.99, or in a limited edition bundle -- complete with peripherals modeled after the Beatles' instruments -- for $249.99. Individual guitars for The Beatles: Rock Band will also be sold separately for $99.99, although any modern guitar controller should work just fine. The press release also warns of to-be-announced preorder exclusives, which you'll apparently be able to hear about first by signing up at the game's currently barren website . Details are expected "in the coming months," so don't get too excited just yet.
