Trash Panic Review

 
Have you ever been in such a Tetris phase that you start seeing it in your sleep? Do you clean around the house and start likening your organization to one big Tetris game? Sony's new downloadable PS3 title Trash Panic is sort of like that -- it takes everyday objects and actually uses them as puzzle game pieces. It's also a very cool physics-based take on the genre that's not just a Jenga-style balancing act like other similar titles. Progression in Trash Panic works differently from Tetris and other block-busting puzzle games: At its core, it's a game of survival. You simply have to keep the game's big blue trash bin from spilling over as a conveyor rolls in a predetermined number of objects; if three objects fall out of the bin, it's Game Over. The game is big on physics, and it's important to smash as many objects as possible to keep the volume of trash compact by "fast dropping" them down the bin and/or trying to break ... (link)
