Unsettling iDOLM@STER Costumes Come To Japanese Home

 
Love it or hate it, Bandai Namco's music/girl game The iDOLM@STER was a watershed title for DLC adoption in Japan. The original Xbox 360 game and its expansion, Live For You!, have been updated with so many downloadable public school swimsuits and baby pacifiers that a parody of one of its theme songs, "Go My Way!" , was written and titled "Go Man Yen!" -- 50,000 yen ($550 US), or about how much it would cost to buy all the DLC. Which brings us to the news at hand: PlayStation Home avatar items designed to promote The iDOLM@STER SP: Perfect Sun, Missing Moon and Wandering Star , a trio of PSP games due February 19. The costume items will reportedly become available via PSP USB link and Home's Rewards feature following The iDOLM@STER SP's release. The only costume shown so far is the stuff of nightmares: A rude facsimile of Yayoi Takatsuki , apparently created by shoving a papier-m?ch? head atop one of Home's ... (link)
