With Doom and Marathon already available on Xbox Live Arcade, id Software will now complete the classic FPS trifecta with an upcoming release of the original Wolfenstein 3D .
The confirmation came through an oddly low-key approach, with a product page for the game quietly appearing on Xbox.com ( via CVG). As you can see on the page, little information is provided, with the release date still listed as "TBD."
No doubt more information will be coming at E3 next month -- as CVG speculates, there may even be a possibility that the game could be released during E3, considering id previously released Doom on XBLA during Microsoft's X06 event in 2006. It'll also be curious to see if id plans to release the game on the PlayStation Network as well. Stay tuned.
