Pretty slim pickings from Nintendo on the Virtual Console and Wiiware this week. Just two games on which to spend your hard-earned moneys, both of them 500 Wii Points ($5)
On Virtual Console we've got another Wonder Boy on the Sega Master System, this one featuring his trek through Monster Land. Solid game, but perhaps you already own the somewhat prettier Wonder Boy in Monster World for the Sega Genesis?
WiiWare brings Niki - Rock 'n' Ball , which is apparently a "throwback to unforgettable arcade classics" in which you "vanquish all opponents to reach the next stage. The catch is that you're a ball, and you have to vanquish them by rolling into them. It actually looks like quite the charming little game, especially considering the price tag. Both of them are available for download now.
