Xbox 360 | Shippin' Out April 26-May 1: X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Velvet Assassin

Activision and Raven's violent actioner mutates onto all relevant platforms this week, as Replay deploys long-in-the-making tactical shooter. When Activision releases the Raven Software-developed X-Men Origins: Wolverine this Wednesday, it will feature the sociopathic mutant stabbing, dismembering, decapitating, and in all other ways mutilating foes with his adamantium-coated claws. Funny, then, that Raven's gore-fest adaptation will tie-in to the gore-free PG-13 film of the same name. X-Men Origins: Wolverine, which headlines the release slate for the week of April 26-May 2, will be available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, PSP, Wii, DS, and PC. Whereas Wolverine's story takes him through fictional trenches of the very real World War II, Southpeak Games and Replay Studios' Velvet Assassin tells a story based on Violette Szabo, an actual spy during the conflict.
