Game Night with Sin and Punishment 2

On this week's Game Night, we're playing Sin and Punishment 2 , an on-rails shooter developed by Treasure. Although it isn't slated to come out until next year, we imported a copy so you can check it out. Send us your questions and they may be read on the show! Sin and Punishment 2 Hands-On Import Preview

Treasure was never too big on sequels, and maybe for good reason -- its Game Boy Advance follow-ups to Gunstar Heroes and Guardian Heroes were good, but not great. But in the case of Sin and Punishment , it was well worth coming back to, because it would be dumb not to; to be able to make it better than it was before. Sin and Punishment 2 was recently released in Japan, and with 1UP's underlying and undying love for Treasure, there was no excuse but to dive right in as soon as possible. The behind-the-back, mostly on-rails action of the Nintendo 64 original was fun, but not ideal when using the cumbersome N64 controller -- there were multiple control schemes to choose from, and neither of them felt particularly good, but it's even worse when playing with a GameCube or Wii Classic Controller (via the Virtual Console version ). But with the Wii Remote's pointer controls, Sin and Punishment 2 is effectively a no-brainer. ...
