1up has stopped at the end of 2008 with a bit of self horn-tooting. They aren’t just looking back at their best work of 2008, they are taking the last 5 years of work and combining it into one massive feature. If you have been missing from the world of gaming for 5 years, you are going to need a lot more help than 1up’s feature can provide. At the very least, it’s a good place to start! Still, back around the Christmas period, Valkyria Chronicles was the only new release that piqued my attention.
