What if Wii Sports wasn’t a console pack-in?

Looks like someone caught the ‘What if the Wii never happened’ article we posted earlier today! There’s an obvious bit of inspiration from that article in the one linked below, which happens to take things a step further. The Wii is indeed a huge hit, but you have to wonder just how much of that success in the states has to do with the bundling of Wii Sports. Would the Wii have made the same impact without that bundle?
