The first thing I have to say is... what happened to my lovely cityscape? Where is my convenience store that inexplicably only sells jellybeans? Do they still come in ketchup flavor? All these questions will have to wait, it seems. It does look pretty though.

A Boy and His Blob Still Looks Fantastic

... why I liked old Disney better than new Pixar) so I get really excited whenever I see a 2D game that looks really good.
In recent years, Castlevania has reigned supreme in the 2D department, but A Boy and His Blob is looking to give that series a run for its money. The styles are very different, but the gorgeous backgrounds and fluid animation give this game a really fun kid’s book/movie feel.
I especially love the little things like the fireflies and vines.
